EMGS Proposes Board Changes

Electromagnetic Geoservices’ nomination committee has proposed Guro Høyaas Løken to be elected as a new board member for 2 years at the AGM to be held on 3 June 2014.

In addition, Jeffery A. Harris and Berit Svendsen are proposed to be re-elected for 2 years.

Background

Chairman Bjarte Bruheim and board member Stig Eide Sivertsen were elected for a period of 2 years at the AGM in 2013. Maria Moræus Hanssen was also elected for 2 years, but has withdrawn from the Board due to potential conflict of interest as CEO of GDF Norway.

Both Jeffery A. Harris and Berit Svendsen have served the Board of EMGS for several years, while Guro Høyaas Løken is proposed as a new member.

Høyaas Løken is currently VP of Engineering and Technology with the company EMAS AMC. She has a broad managerial experience and substantial international experience. Prior to joining EMAS, she worked with Aker Marine Contractors, Aker Engineering and Technip for more than 14 years, including as a Global Vessel and Asset manager. She has strong technical skills from working in the offshore industry for 17 years with tasks ranging from deep-water platform & mooring design to installation planning and execution. Høyaas Løken has a Master of Science, in Naval Architecture and Marine Technology, from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Trondheim, Norway.
