EMGS sells Barents Sea data

Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has informed of a sales agreement from the multi-client library in the Barents Sea.

EMGS will receive uplift revenues of $2.5 million related to the licensing round for mature areas on the Norwegian continental shelf – Awards in Predefined Areas (APA).

EMGS’ multi-client data library in Norway now covers 44,000 km2 in the Barents Sea, in addition to approximately 10,000 km2 in the Norwegian Sea and 1,400 km2 in the North Sea.
