Energy Minister Tours Bilbao Knutsen

Trinidad’s Minister of Energy Senator Kevin C. Ramnarine recently toured Atlantic LNG in Point Fortin.

Minister Ramnarine commended Atlantic on its excellent safety record of 25 million man hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI). He noted that a significant portion, as much as 44 percent, of Trinidad and Tobago’s LNG currently goes to South America.

An invitation was extended to the Minister by Captain Fernando Alaya to board and tour the LNG tanker, Bilbao Knutsen, which was loading a cargo of LNG destined for Chile.
