EWC Spuds Walanga 3 Well (Indonesia)

Following the completion of the Walanga #2 Well and further to the previously announced drilling programme for WASAMBO (Walanga – Sampi Sampi – Bonge) gas fields within the Sengkang PSC, Energy World Corporation announced that this drilling programme is progressing on schedule and on 11 November the Walanga #3 Well was spudded.

The programme involves drilling four gas production wells, being: Sampi Sampi #1 Twinning, Walanga #1 Twinning, Walanga #2 Twinning and Walanga #3, and is expected to be completed around mid-December 2013. Each of the wells will target the Tacipi formation at a total depth of 2,600 feet.

The gas from these wells will provide initial feedstock gas for Sengkang Modular LNG Project.
