Ex-Equinor man becomes IKM Consultants CEO

IKM Consultants, an IKM Group subsidiary, has appointed a new chief executive officer.

IKM said on Thursday that it named Einar Refsnes as its new CEO. The company added that the new CEO started in his new role on Monday, September 3.

Refsnes has 20 years of experience in the oil industry, with the last 13 years in management positions.

From 2009, Refsnes held HR manager roles in Equinor and Baker Hughes. His last assignment in Equinor was head of HR in the research and technology organization.

“From his experience in the industry, Einar has good insight in this segment both from the customer side and from being department manager in IKM Consultant from 2004-07,” the company said.

Arne Vervik, executive vice president of IKM Group, said: “Einar has very relevant experience for this role and he is a person with a lot of positive energy. We are very pleased to have Einar on our team and wish him welcome back to IKM.”
