Expro Recognized Among Top 100 British Companies for Sales Figures

International oilfield services company, Expro, has been ranked among the top 100 British private companies for sales figures.

Expro ranked 78th in the prestigious Sunday Times BDO Top Track 100, published on Sunday 23 June, up 13 positions from 91st place when the company previously participated in 2011.

The company recently announced strong annual results for the year ending March 2013, which highlighted an increase in revenue of 18.5% to over £775 million ($1.2bill) on the previous year.

Charles Woodburn, CEO, said: “Expro has performed extremely well this year, and it is excellent recognition to be included amongst the top 100 private UK companies.

“We are celebrating 40 years in business this year, which is testament to our continued ability to deliver safe, innovative solutions to our customers. Expro displays a strong heritage in the oil and gas industry, and will continue to invest in the development of infrastructure, assets and our workforce globally.”

The company has invested in its workforce heavily over the past year, employing more than 1,000 people, and continuing to advance the number of development programmes it offers. Expro now employ more than 5,000 people in 50 countries worldwide.
