Solstad said on Tuesday that the frame agreement is for three years firm.

The first call-off has been received for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Normand Swift for a period of three months. The contract is scheduled to start during December.

The Normand Swift platform supplier is of a PX 105 design built in 2014 by Zhejijang Shipbuilding.

This is not Solstad’s first supply vessel contract award this week. The vessel owner also secured contracts for its platform supply vessels in Norway. The contracts are with Wintershall Dea and Aker BP.

Also in Brazil, Solstad in August won several extensions with oil majors Total and Equinor.

Total extended deals for the Normand Swift PSV and Far Sagaris AHTS until December 2020.

Equinor, on the other hand, extended the contracts for the PSVs Sea Brasil and Far Scotsman by one year until December 2021 and six months until May 2022, respectively.
