Fjord1 Orders Two Ferries

Fjord1 Orders Two Ferries

Norwegian transport conglomerate Fjord1 has ordered two ferries of Multi Maritime design, Multi Maritime said in a release.

The ferries will be built at Ada Shipyard in Tuzla in Turkey.

The newbuilds will be double-ended ferries featuring approximately 70 m in lengh.

The duo will have the capacity to carry 60 cars and 199 passengers.

The two ferries are slated for delivery in mid-2016.
