FMC Technologies: CFO takes Executive Vice President role

FMC Technologies has announced that Maryann T. Seaman has been appointed Executive Vice President effective March 1, 2014.

Seaman, who is the company’s Chief Financial Officer, has been with FMC Technologies for 28 years and has held a variety of financial, administrative and operational positions.

Seaman became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in March 2014. She was previously appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in December 2011. She served as Treasurer through November 2011. Prior to that she was appointed Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer in April 2010. She held the position of Vice President of Administration from 2007 through 2010 and was responsible for Human Resources, Executive Compensation, Health, Safety and Environment and Corporate Communications. She also served as the Secretary to the Compensation and the Nominating and Governance Committees of the Board of Directors.

In 2005, Seaman became responsible for Corporate Communications in addition to holding the position of Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Development, which she held since 2003. Previously, she served as Group Controller of FoodTech since 2000 as well as Division Controller of the Airport Systems Division in 1996. In 1993, Seaman became the Finance and Operations Manager for the North American Division of the Agricultural Products Group of FMC Corporation, located in Philadelphia. Prior to this, she was the Facilities Administration Manager for the Agricultural Products Group’s Research and Development Center.

Before joining FMC Corporation in 1986, Seaman served as Finance Manager for Sheller-Globe Corporation.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an MBA from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Seaman serves on the board of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
