Foster Wheeler Appoints Michelle Davies as General Counsel

Foster Wheeler AG announced today that Michelle Davies, 51, has been named as General Counsel, effective November 1, 2011.

She assumes the position after having served as Acting General Counsel since January 1, 2010. She assumes the role of General Counsel in addition to her responsibility as Corporate Secretary, a role that she has filled since April of this year.

Kent Masters, Chief Executive Officer of Foster Wheeler AG, said, “Michelle is exceptionally well-qualified to serve as General Counsel, and we are delighted that she has accepted this appointment.”

Davies, who has more than 25 years of experience in complex corporate legal matters, joined Foster Wheeler in 2008 as General Counsel of the company’s subsidiary in the United Kingdom. Prior to that, she had been with English Welsh & Scottish Railway Limited, where she had been Group Legal Director and Company Secretary and Member of the Executive Committee. She had also previously served as Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Company Secretary for NIREX Limited. She holds an LLB with Honors from the University of Reading.
