GAC Sri Lanka Receives Business Excellence Awards

GAC Sri Lanka has scooped two top prizes in the National Business Excellence Awards. It won Gold Awards in the ‘Shipping & Shipping-related Services Sector’ and ‘Medium Category Companies – Sri Lanka’ categories of the annual award competition which recognises enterprises that have demonstrated business excellence whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.

GAC Sri Lanka’s Director/Chief Executive Officer, Preethilal Fernando says: “This is the first time we have won a Gold Award at national level. We are very proud of this achievement, which recognises our efforts in building and growing both the company and the GAC brand name in Sri Lanka. The Awards attest to our commitment to the strong management values of the GAC Group as well as transparency and ethical business practices.”

Established in 1991, GAC Sri Lanka offers a full range of ship agency and related services, and handles all types of port calls, vessels and cargoes. It covers all ports, terminals, anchorages, holding areas and repair yards throughout the country.
