GD NASSCO Wins Two More U.S. Navy Contracts Worth USD 29.3 Mln

General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Co., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $29,238,918 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-12-C-2400) for the post shakedown availability of USS San Diego (LPD 22) and the fitting-out availability of USS Anchorage (LPD 23).

Specific efforts include program management, planning, engineering, design, liaison, scheduling, labor, and procurement of incidental material in support of the post shakedown availability and fitting-out availability. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. and is expected to be completed by December 2014.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
