Germany - Shipyard Ferus Smit Launches New Vessel Built for Royal Wagenborg

On April 11th, at Shipyard Ferus Smit GmbH in Leer, Germany the launching of m.v. Fuldaborg took place. Christening and name giving were done by mrs. Rita Jabaay, spouse of mr. Bram Roelse, managing director IHC Dredgers B.V.

The Fuldaborg is the sixth of a series of 1A ice classed, nozzle fitted, 14.600 ton vessels Ferus Smit is building for Royal Wagenborg. Principal particulars: length overall 154,60 m., width 17.20 m., hold 11.55 m., container capacity 475 TEU of which 191 on deck, main engine: 4500 kW Wärtsilä 9L32C.

The expected delivery of m.v. Fuldaborg will be end of May.
