Golden Energy Offshore to Manage Neptune Subsea Duo
Golden Energy Offshore has been awarded management contracts with Neptune Subsea to fully manage its two IMR & light construction vessels Larissa and Despina.
Neptune Larissa and Neptune Despina are 98.6 meters long sister vessels of Ulstein SX130 design delivered in 2011 by Zhejiang Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group.
Larissa is currently on charter with Shell Nigeria, while Despina is in lay-up.
Golden Energy Offshore assumed the role as commercial manager in September 2016 and full management as from November 22, 2016.
According to Golden Energy Offshore, the contract should involve significant increase in number of its crew and onshore support staff.
“Golden Energy Offshore looks forward to working with Neptune Subsea in providing full management for these vessels for the benefit and success of both parties,” said Per Ivar Fagervoll, CEO of Golden Energy Offshore.
Nicolai Heidenreich, chairman of Neptune Subsea, said: “Neptune Subsea is proud to be part of a professional team capable of performing complex services for demanding clients. Golden Energy Offshore has proven to be a very competent organisation which we are confident will fit these versatile vessels well.”
