Golder Associates Names New Leader for LNG Projects

Golder Associates Corporation, a global engineering, construction and technical services organisation, has named James Frolich as Global Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Leader to help guide involvement in LNG projects in Canada, Australia, and elsewhere.

James is now a member of Golder’s global oil & gas senior leadership team, which seeks to work with clients to determine LNG opportunities where Golder’s experience can help further project objectives. He will help develop the resources and capabilities Golder Associates delivers to these potentially large projects.

James will also seek to foster relationships with engineering, procurement, and construction management contractors and identify possible acquisition targets in the industry.

He is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

A 33-year veteran in the consulting business for engineering, environment, and construction management, James has held senior roles with a number of major consulting firms. He began his career in California working on energy projects and offshore oil & gas development.

He spent a decade in Europe during the opening of central and eastern Europe, focusing on business development, acquisitions, and project delivery challenges, as well as leading energy and brownfields remediation and redevelopment projects in the highly contaminated former communist bloc. Subsequently, he led the Asia Pacific practice for a US-based company.

James joined Golder in Vancouver five years ago, focusing on environmental assessment and due diligence for energy, resource, and transportation projects. Most recently, he managed the Greater Vancouver environmental assessment division.
