Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque Seeks Hydrographic Instruments

Grand port maritime de Dunkerque is looking for a supplier of an oceanographic sea swell measuring device.

The following services are required:

– The buoy, designed to track the free surface of the sea, may be of heave, roll, pitch, or the type with three motion components.

– It must be equipped with: a system location, an internal memory for backup of raw data, a sensor for measuring the water temperature, a dampening system so that the mooring line does not interfere with the movements of the buoy, and a technical manual.

The siting of the buoy will be in depths greater than 20m.

The project period is one month from the date of contract award, and the deadline for submission of tenders in March 28, 2013.
