Hawk Explorer Starts Pelotas Survey

SeaBird Exploration Plc has that the Hawk Explorer is mobilizing for the Pelotas survey in Brazil for Spectrum ASA (SPU).

The vessel will be working under the existing global framework agreement. The survey is approximately 7,500 km. The Pelotas basin is a frontier area with little seismic coverage. The survey will tie in to the extensive 2D seismic coverage in neighboring Uruguay that Spectrum markets to the industry.

SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry.
