Horizon Geosciences Gets New Project Manager

Horizon Geosciences has appointed Ross Compton as the company’s new project manager.

Compton has an MSc in Applied Marine Science, a PhD in Marine Studies and 12 years’ experience in the offshore industry having joined WGP Seismic in 2005.

He joins Horizon from RPS where he was most recently responsible for the provision of marine mammal observers and passive acoustic monitoring services in support of marine seismic, construction and UXO operations in addition to the provision of seismic and navigation client representatives.

Compton becomes part of Horizon Geosciences’ UK business, providing offshore site investigation services within the North Sea and surrounding regions. He will take particular responsibility for geophysical investigations and will also continue his role providing consultancy services to the IAGC as their EAME representative.
