Port Plans Dredging Project

Silt has prevented some barges from being loaded.

Officials at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa approved a $520,000 plan for emergency channel dredging Thursday.

The board of directors voted unanimously in favor of the project, which port Director Bob Portiss said was necessary because a buildup of silt has caused blockages.
