Luedtke Engineering gets dredging contract

The US Army Corps of Engineers has approved a US$742,000 contract with Luedtke Engineering to dredge the Buffalo River.

The work is part of a routine, biannual maintenance programme for the federal navigation channel, and will see the channel dredged to a depth of 22ft.

The month-long dredging effort is expected to begin in mid-August.
