Vanuatu’s coastal and fisheries resources managed by JICA

Around VT400 million will be allocated to cover a project on the comprehensive management of coastal and fisheries resources and environment, which is expected to start in October this year and run for a three-year period with funding from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vila. Kiyoshi Kastuyama, senior assistant to the director general, rural development department of JICA, signed last Thursday an agreement with the director of the fisheries department, Moses Amos after the completion of the preparatory study for the project in Vanuatu.
