Seafast moves Tilbury operation to new site

Multimodal firm Seafast Logistics has moved its warehousing operation to new premises in the port of Tilbury, partly to capitalise on an expected growth in traffic linked to the 2012 Olympics. The move means Seafast has doubled its capacity at Tilbury to 18,600sq metres.

Seafast MD David Halliday, said: “We are delighted to have established a presence in Tilbury over the last 12 months, and in doing so we have also developed a strong and positive working relationship with the port management, to the extent we felt very comfortable increasing our size and period commitment toward our warehousing activities.”
