Ship sank after collision with gas platform

AN INVESTIGATION is underway after a cargo ship collided with a gas platform in the North Sea and then sank.

The vessel, the Jork, struck the unmanned Viking Echo platform 40 miles north-east of Cromer, Norfolk just before 6pm on Saturday.
