Hyperdynamics Board member calls it quits

Hyperdynamics Corp. has announced the resignation of Lord David Owen as a member of its Board of Directors.

Lord Owen also served on the Nominating and Corporate Governance and Governmental Relations committees of the Board.

Ray Leonard, Hyperdynamics’ President and CEO, commented, “Hyperdynamics has been fortunate to have had Lord Owen as a director since September 2009. Lord Owen’s expertise in international government relations has been a valuable asset to us. We were able to benefit from his experience and wisdom for the past five years, and we thank him for his service.”

Hyperdynamics is an emerging independent oil and gas exploration and production company that is exploring for oil and gas offshore the Republic of Guinea in West Africa.
