Maersk XLE -3 is a jack-up rig which will perform drilling at the Gina Krog field.

“The fact that Statoil rewarded us with our second drill support contract indicates that the market has noticed IKM Subsea’s good progress,” says IKM Subsea Business Development Manager, Hans Fjellanger.

“IKM Subsea has already won several drill support contracts in Norway, but also internationally, this has, and will give us useful track record for achieving IKM Subsea’s expansion plans for the future.

“As a Norwegian-owned and independent ROV operator we are very happy to win such an important contract in competition with the big foreign companies. This is a milestone for us and will bring IKM Subsea to an even higher level than we are today.
