Imabari Shipbuilding Presented Its Latest Projects at Asia Pacific Maritime 2012

Imabari Shipbuilding Group took part and presented its latest projects at International maritime exhibition Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2012 which has been held in Singapore from 14th until 16th of March, 2012. Asia Pacific Maritime is one of the biggest maritime exhibitions in the Asian region, many shipbuilders and marine machinery & equipment manufacturers from all over the world took part at the show.

As a member of the Cooperative Association of Japan Shipbuilders, Imabari Shipbuilding participated in the exhibition together with other Japanese shipyards and marine machinery & equipment manufacturers, ten companies in total thus formed national stand of Japan.

Headed by Singapore, total of 53 countries including Norway, Germany, Holland and U.K. from Europe as well as Japan, Korea and China joined the exhibition.

This time, environment and energy saving were the key issues of the exhibition, reflecting world’s environmental problem. Many related materials have been presented focusing these issues. In consideration of such world trend, Imabari positively presented its development in implementing the use of LNG and natural energy such as wind and solar force etc. in shipbuilding industry.
