Image of the Day: Edith Maersk Heads to Hong Kong

The image shows one of Maersk Line’s container giants, the Edith Maersk, leaving busy Chinese Port of Ningbo en route for Hong Kong, where she is scheduled to arrive on February 16th.

Edith Maersk is the sister ship of Emma Maersk, one of the largest cargo ships in the world. She was built by the Denmark-based Odense Steel Shipyard and has the capacity to carry 13,500 containers.
