Image of the Day: Kleven’s Newbuilds Test Their Mettle

Kleven’s newbuild duo are pictured here testing their mettle in the North Sea.

The two are purpose-built offshore construction vessel Grand Canyon II (on the left) being built by Myklebust Verft  and offshore supply ship Olympic Bibby being built by Kleven Verft (on the right) sailing side by side on their respective sea trials.

The 126-meter long Gran Canyon II is owned by Norwegian Volstad Maritime and can accommodate 104 persons.

The 4500 DWT ship Olympic Bibby is owned by Bibby Offshore.
