Interwell UK Reports Change in Management

Interwell UK has announced the departure of its managing director, Andrew Louden.

The company said that Louden has decided to pursue a new challenge and has handed the reins of responsibility to David Aitken, who has worked alongside him since the UK’s inception in January 2011.

Louden joined Interwell in December 2010 to establish a UK subsidiary of Interwell AS. Over the last four years, the UK business has gone from an initial two employees up to its current headcount of 48.

According to the company, his leadership has overseen growth in revenues from just over £1m to more than £16m.

David Aitken joined Interwell as the UK Operations Manager, following a long career with a major service company where he had overall responsibility for its North Sea slickline business. Dave became the UK Country Manager at Interwell in 2014. In Dave’s new role as UK Managing Director he will assume responsibility for all of Interwell’s core business activities in the UK and West Africa.

Interwell’s CEO, Eirik Bergsvik, said: “I’d like to thank Andrew for his significant contribution to the growth of the Interwell business in the demanding UK market. He has built, and leaves behind a strong, committed team.

“Dave’s acute focus on safe operations and service quality, his proven management skills, and his comprehensive understanding of running a well services business makes him the ideal person to lead the UK team during this exciting new phase of further expansion.”
