Iran Offers Turkey to Repair Gas Pipeline

The National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) announced its readiness to help the Turkish company, Botas, with repairing the damaged pipeline, managing director of the NIGC, Javad Owji said.

According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he said that the pipeline was damaged in an explosion 50km deep into the Turkish territory at 5:00 am (local time) on Monday.

“Currently, Iranian gas flow to Turkey has been halted due to an explosion on the pipeline in the Turkish territories”, Owji added.
