Jacobs Nabs New Bedford Harbor Contract
Jacobs Field Services North America Inc. has won a $200 million multi-year contract with options for dredging and draining of contaminated sediment and the disposal thereof from the New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Funding and work location will be determined with each order with an estimated completion date of November 17, 2024. Bids were solicited via the Internet with three received, according to defense.gov.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Concord, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity.
