Japan: TEPCO FY 2012 Planned LNG Use at 23.82 Million Tonnes

Japan’s Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) said that it plans to use 23.82 million tonnes of LNG in fiscal 2012.

Tepco purchased 4.5 million tonnes of spot and short-term LNG in April-December in 2012.

That accounts for about 25 percent of TEPCO’s total LNG imports during the period, Reuters reported.
