Jee Introduces New Subsea Training Course (UK)

Jee has introduced a new addition to its growing programme of subsea training courses. The Engineering of Flexibles course provides delegates with an expert level of understanding in flexible risers and flowlines in conjunction with OrcaFlex software training.

The four-day course, which is offered in Aberdeen and being held from the 24th to the 27th September, is beneficial for delegates in a range of engineering specialties. The course will provide a comprehensive understanding of flexibles, from design and manufacture to installation and operation, as well as build knowledge of the materials and equipment used in flexibles operations.

Delegates will learn how FPSO and SPM design affect the choice of a riser system and have the opportunity to apply these theories to real-life projects through case studies and group discussions. They will also receive a thorough understand of OrcaFlex analysis software, including a walkthrough and dos and don’ts of the system, along with practical exercises to ensure a solid knowledge of the programme.

As with all Jee courses, Engineering of Flexibles will be taught by a practicing engineer with years of experience in the field who is up to date with current practices and regulations relating to subject material.

The course will begin on 24 September at Skene House Rosemount in Aberdeen.
