In a statement on Wednesday, the companies said they’d offer “a cost-efficient and safe Walk-to-Work vessel solution.”

“This agreement is a result of A1 Offshore Solution’s excellent experiences with the KenzFigee 3D Active Motion Compensated (ACM) 26-meter gangway solution installed on board its’ offshore support vessel ‘Notus Express’,” KenzFigee said.

“Increasing demand for cost efficient, safe and reliable offshore access solutions have been the basis of this joint initiative.  In addition to the installed walk-to-work system from KenzFigee, the vessel ‘Notus Express’ is fitted with a purpose-built accommodation block in 2018. This combination of modern equipment is becoming the new industry standard,” the company added.

The Walk-2-Work solution comprises the offshore support vessel ‘Notus Express’ of A1 Offshore Solutions, equipped with a Kenz Figee ACM access system enabling access to offshore structures. The 3D Active Motion Compensated gangway has a 1-ton lifting capability and zero docking pressure.
