NPA Boss Satisfied with Dredging Contract

Matilda Parker, the Managing Director of the National Port Authority (NPA), has disclosed that the Ports of Monrovia and Greenville dredging agreement is a wide-ranging contract, according to Daily Observer.

Madam Parker indicated that the value of the dredging package (survey, dredge and mobilization) is significantly acceptable owing to the quality of works which are expected to be done.

The dredging of the S.A. Ross Port of Greenville will be about nine meters and will be completed at the end of June or early July,“ she stated.

The depth of the basin of the S. A. Ross’ Port of Greenville was earlier put at about one meter.

The NPA Management is doing everything to make our ports meet International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) compliant,” Madam Parker concluded.
