Linde to Present StarLNG Technology at AIChE Spring Meeting

Heinz C. Bauer, Vice President Technology, Product Line Natural Gas, Linde Engineering, Division, Pullach, Germany will be presenting the StarLNG™ technology family of solutions at the 2014 AIChE Spring Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana on Monday, March 31, 2014.

Linde Engineering, Pullach in collaboration with Linde Process Plants, Inc., Tulsa, OK has successfully developed a collection of LNG standard plant solutions, under the banner StarLNG™. These standard plant solutions cover LNG production from 30 to 3,000 tons per day and feature mixed refrigerant technology; LIMUM® process (Linde’s proprietary technology) or expander based processes with nitrogen/mixed refrigerant, such as EcoRel (from Cryostar, a Linde company).

Ron Key, Vice President of Technology & Sales for LPP, said, “These technologies give midstream companies an avenue to become a major player in the growing LNG market and significantly increase profit from their shale gas NGL recovery plants”.

At the meeting, Bauer will explore the advantages of each StarLNG™ solution in the LNG Technology and Development session. Attendees will learn which LNG production process best suits their application and how Linde delivers a tailored solution to meet their needs. Additional advantage to the customer is Linde’s capability to do everything from equipment sale to a fully designed plant including construction.
