LSWE’s Saturation/Air Diving System for Tasik Toba SOV

Singapore based Leong Siew Weng Engineering (LSWE) is set to deliver its first 15-man Single Bell Saturation Diving System complete with Surface Air Dive System to Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding for Tasik Subsea’s newbuild Subsea Operation Vessel “Tasik Toba”.

The Saturation Diving System can operate in water depths of up to 300 meters with a Surface Air Diving System capable of operating in water depths of 50 meters. Both systems will be fully Class approved, the company said in a statement.

This Saturation Diving System will comprise of two 6-man living chambers complete with entry lock, one 3-man living chamber complete with entry lock and dedicated medical facility.

The system will also be supplied with two Self-Propelled Hyperbaric Lifeboats for divers evacuation.

According to the company, the delivery is scheduled for last quarter 2015 to Mawei Shipyard. The integration of the diving systems will start in the first quarter of 2016.
