'Maersk Developer' Receives High Grades from Anadarko

At the recent quarterly customer satisfaction survey Maersk Drilling’s US based ultra deepwater semi-submersible drilling rig Mærsk Developer received straight sevens for an outstanding performance. It was the second time in 2013 the rig received top scores from a customer.

On 25 October Mærsk Developer Rig Manager Lars Kasueske together with representatives from his rig team met with the Customer Anadarko for the quarterly performance review. And with a YTD operational uptime of 97,3% and 99,2% for Q3 the Maersk Drilling representatives was met by a happy customer.

With an LTI frequency of zero for the period the drilling superintendent from Anadarko Choney LaSage mentioned in the report: “HSE Performance: Excellent job and record keeping.” Furthermore he wrote about the operational performance; “Rig’s operational performance considered by myself best in APC fleet.”

Rig Manager Lars Kasueske says alignment is a key component for the fine result: “We are very well aligned with Anadarko on safety and the operational expectations and we have an outstanding relationship with our customer both offshore and onshore,” he says.

Mærsk Developer is currently performing the second of two well interventions for Anadarko on a Statoil sublet contract. After this current well the rig will go to the Signal Yard in Pascagoula Mississippi for its 5 year special survey. Once the 55 days survey is completed Mærsk Developer will return to drill for Statoil for the reminder of the contract set to expire late 2015.
