Malaysia: Alam Maritim Secures AHTS Contract from Carigali Hess

Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd, subsidiary of investment holding company Alam Maritim Resources Berhad announced yesterday, on November 5th 2012, that it has secured contract for the provision of one anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) from Carigali Hess Operating Company Sdn Bhd

The agreed duration of the contract is 21 months and it will commence in March 2013. Value of the contract is USD 7.04 million.

The contract is expected to positively contribute to the earnings and net assets of AMRB for the financial year ending 31 December 2013 and beyond, according to the company’s press release.
