Malaysia: Jasa Merin Sells ‘JM Damai’

Malaysian-based Jasa Merin Sdn Bhd (JM), a subsidiary of SILK Holdings Bhd (SILK), has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to sell one Anchor Handling Vessel, M/V JM Damai, for a total consideration of USD 7.925 million.

The vessel, built in 2006, is a Malaysian-flagged vessel registered at Port Klang.

It is expected that the MoA will reach its completion by the end of March 2014.

The vessel sale is part of JM’s ongoing fleet renewal and replacement programme.
