Mermaid Sells Subsea Vessel to Prospect Marine

Mermaid Maritime has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with Prospect Marine Limited, for the sale of its subsea utility vessel “Mermaid Performer”.

Mermaid Performer, built in Japan in 1982, is the smallest vessel in Mermaid Offshore Services’ fleet. As part of the fleet renewal plan, MOS took opportunity to dispose “Mermaid Performer” to minimise the cost of the Company. The total consideration for the Sale is USD 670,000 .
