Multiseis Programmes, a software developer for the marine seismic industry has expanded and moved its main UK operations to coastal renewables hub OrbisEnergy.

With this move, the company aims to investigate new opportunities in the environmental and renewables industries.

Its four full time UK staff will work in OrbisEnergy, while its three part-time administration staff will remain in its original Lowestoft office. Multiseis’ Norwegian sister company employs three full-time employees in Trondheim.

Dave Boulton, who set up MultiSeis Programmes Ltd, said: “We have recently become involved with a scientific institution, seeking fundamental knowledge about the origin, evolution and future of the natural world, as well as a cable laying company. We also plan to expand the marine mammal observation features currently available for Marine Mammal observations. Being in OrbisEnergy gives us the chance to investigate other opportunities.”

“We’re delighted that MultiSeis has chosen OrbisEnergy as its base. We’re happy we can offer opportunities within the building for MultiSeis to expand and explore new markets,” said  Johnathan Reynolds of OrbisEnergy.
