MV Deep Helder on Sea Trials

The new-build subsea support vessel, named MV Deep Helder continued its trials this week from the port of Delfzijl, the Netherlands.

The 65 m long DP2 vessel was launched from De Hoop’s Foxhol Yard in Groningen on April 23rd  2014.

She will be equipped with Survey and ROV systems, an offshore crane and 3 moonpools. The vessel will be ready for operations by July this year.

Deep Helder will be a cost effective vessel that we plan to operate on Survey (Geophysics, Inspection & Geotechnical) , IMR and light weight trenching, excavation and Mattress Installation projects for our customers in the oil & gas and renewable markets” said Rick Green, DeepOcean’s General Manager of DeepOcean B.V.
