N-Sea starts IRM campaign in North Sea

Subsea services provider N-Sea has won a contract and started the campaign in the North Sea for an undisclosed oil and gas development and production company.  

N-Sea said that the contract was for the provision of subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) services.

According to the company, the all-inclusive deal is worth £30 million ($39 million) and will last for three years with options for extensions.

Under the contract, N-Sea would provide vessels and project crews for vessel-based and daughter craft diving combined with ROV operations.

Pre-engineering survey work for this project, which is being carried out in the Central and Northern North Sea has been completed. The initial offshore phase began in mid-June.
