NBBB: Construction Continues on WSF’s Second Ferry

Nichols Brothers Boat Builders (NBBB) is currently building the second of two Washington State 144-Car Ferry Superstructures for Washington State, partnering with Vigor Marine. 

NBBB immediately began work on the second Superstructure following the launch of the first. Nichols is assembling sections of the grand mod. Completion of the second Superstructure is scheduled for January 2014.

Passenger capacity – 1500 persons

Vehicle capacity – 144 automobiles

Speed – 17 knots

Nichols also is putting the finishing touches on the second of two 100′ x 40′ Z-Drive Tractor Tugs built for Harley Marine Services of Seattle, Washington.
