New CEO to Strengthen Scana Propulsion's Strategic Position

Terje Arnesen (51) has been temporarily engaged as CEO of Scana Propulsion, effective 12th August 2013.

Terje Arnesen is a very experienced senior manager. He left the position as CEO of Bergen Group ASA in May this year. He has also held the positions as Executive Vice President, Shipbuilding and Excecutive Vice President, Maritime Sevices in Bergen Group. Before joining Bergen Group, Terje Arnesen held the position as CEO in Bennex Group and several senior positions within Rolls-Royce Marine such as Director Growth Team, Executive Vice President Aftermarket Services, Regional Director North Europe, Regional Director South Europe, and Managing Director Rolls Royce in Spain. In earlier days, Terje held sales positions within Ulstein Bergen, as well as technical positions within Diesel Power AS and Berner&Larsen AS.

Terje knows this business very well and I am sure he will bring in much added value to our strategic, as well as operative development. Hallvard Pettersen has been appointed the position as Managing Director of Scana Volda AS Hallvard Pettersen (48) has been appointed the position as Managing Director of Scana Volda, effective 1st August 2013.

Currently, Hallvard holds the position as Vice President Scana Propulsion Services and Hallvard is also interim Managing Director of Scana Propulsion and Scana Volda.

Before joining Scana Industrier, Hallvard was plant Manager for three units within Ørsta Stål / Saferoad and held several managerial positions within Rolls-Royce Marine.
