New CEO and CFO for Noreco

Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) has appointed Odd Arne Slettebø as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Tommy Sundt as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Sundt was appointed as a new CEO following the departure of Svein Arild Killingland and Odd Arne Slettebø replaces Tommy Sundt.

Slettebø joined Noreco in August 2012 and was until now Group Finance Manager of Noreco.

“I am very pleased to announce that Odd Arne Slettebø will be my successor as CFO. He is highly skilled and knows the company very well, which will secure continuity in the team,” says Tommy Sundt, CEO of Noreco.

Slettebø is a state authorised public accountant and holds a master degree in Accounting and Auditing from Norwegian School of Economics and Business administration (NHH), in addition to a Bachelor degree in Business administration from Bergen University College. Before joining Noreco he was Audit Manager in PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) where he had worked five years with audit of large and medium sized clients in the oil & gas and oil service industry.

Noreco says that having had the responsibility for reporting of external accounts, Slettebø has worked closely with previous CFOs in connection with execution and communication of a series of complex restructuring and refinancing processes in the company.

Sundt was appointed CFO of the company on September 2, 2014. Before that, he spent 10 years as CFO of Rocksource ASA.

“I look forward to continuing to work with my highly competent colleagues, and to working hard to resolve the company’s challenges,” says Sundt.
