New Container Carrier Joins FESCO’s Fleet

FESCO group has expanded its fleet with a new 133.5-meter vessel named FESCO Navarin, which was received at the Port of Rotterdam on June 11th 2014.

The container carrier FESCO Navarin will operate under the flag of the Russian Federation and will then be registered in Vladivostok.

The vessel’s full capacity is 707 TEU, and the ship can carry up to 150 refrigerated containers. The ice rate meets the standards required for operation in the Far East region. The vessel is fitted with modern equipment and has a high class automation system.

The FESCO Navarin container carrier will be operating on FESCO’s own cabotage service lines (in addition to the vessel FESCO Novik, which was acquired in March 2014). The launch of the two new container carriers on the cabotage line is scheduled for August-September of this year.
