North-Western Shipping Company Delivers Seabed Supporter

JSC “North-Western Shipping Company”, one of the largest shipping companies in Russia, announces that they have completed the towing of the MPV Seabed Supporter from Sea Port of St. Petersburg to Astrakhan.

The vessel, with a length of 90 m, width of 16.7 m and a height of 8.3 m, was built in Norway for installation services for oil and gas operations in Azerbaijan.

“Alexander Obukhov” and “RT-2454” tugs were involved in this project.

North-Western Shipping Company has extensive experience in performing such operations. The Company handles export and import of general, bulk and oversize cargo, provides towing of vessels as well as transit shipments through the Volga-Baltic Waterway and the Saimaa Canal.
