Norway: Sartor Secures Contract Extension for Ocean Troll Offshore Vessel

Sartor Offshore reports that Statoil has extended the contract of Ocean Troll until November 2012, with two yearly options.

Ocean Troll is a multipurpose anchorhandling, tug, supply vessel. In addition to normal AHTS capabilities, the vessel is capable of providing contingency services such as; standby rescue, oil recovery and firefighting services.

The vessel was built in 1984 at Søviknes Verft AS. On 27 October 2006 the vessel was purchased by Ocean LanHoy KS and renamed to “Ocean Troll”.

Sartor Offshore is the technical and commercial manager for the vessel.
